The importance of a quality education is critical for success in our society. Success in high school is contingent upon success in middle school. Success in middle school requires mastering the fundamentals of elementary school. This also can be referred to as a trickle-down effect.
At Christopher Columbus, we can thank the tireless efforts of Ms. Dougherty and Ms. Doyle for the successful opening and continuing education of our students and graduates for the past 20 years. Nobody can argue that education is a lifelong skill our young adults need to defend themselves against life’s hardships. Critical thinking, analytical analysis, character development, integrity and respect are just a few items our staff and administration work hard to impart to our students on a daily basis. Teachers arrive each day ready to impart lessons requiring late night and weekend preparation. At CCCs, our staff work tirelessly to make this happen.
I feel blessed to be part of a school community which feels more like an extended family. Let’s continue to work together to successfully graduate our CCCS students to become our future world leaders and make our world a better place to live.
